I am a 37 year old cancer search nurse hoping to re-start a mediation practice after a break of a few years. I used to practice in the Mahasi tradition, but also took inspiration from Zen. I moved away from Buddhism when I realised I was a naturalist & became uncomfortable with the "religious" aspects of Buddhsim, but would now like to explore it from a naturalistic viewpoint.
